Background Info

Each year, Your Community Foundation awards thousands of dollars through a competitive grant process to support projects in Allen County that make a meaningful difference in our community. These grants empower local organizations to create positive impact, whether through education, health and wellness, arts and culture, or other initiatives that improve the lives of residents.

Currently, the foundation's relationships and assets are solely based in Allen County. Therefore, for the grant opportunities listed below we will exclusively consider grant applications from 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations, Education, Government, and Religious entities located in Allen County. This policy may change in future years based on the foundation's assets in Woodson and Anderson counties.

Who is Eligible to Apply:

  • Nonprofit organizations with 501(c)(3) status
  • Units of local government
  • Educational institutions
  • Faith-based organizations providing non-religious, community-serving programs (e.g., food pantries, childcare, shelters)
  • Organizations with a fiscal sponsor that holds 501(c)(3) status
  • Programs and projects that primarily serve residents within Allen County.
  • Organizations/groups that are hosing a charitable project
